Bossler Mansion built in 1869 in Dayton, OH

The Bossler Mansion, located at 136 Dutoit St. and a component of the about 12-square-block St. Anne’s Hill Historic District, is the best example of Second Empire architecture in the city. The building was built in 1869. During Napoleon III’s reign (1852–1870-), Second Empire architecture became more and more fashionable in France.
